CTK & WELS Lutheran Schools

The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) has been providing Christian education for over 150 years. Considering its early childhood, elementary, and high school system, the WELS manages the fourth largest private school system in the United States. Currently, WELS congregations operate nearly 400 early childhood centers, 300 elementary schools, and 27 high schools.
Christ the King Academy (CTK) has been operating as part of the WELS school system since 2010. CTK operates an early childhood education center along with a kindergarten through grade eight program on the same campus. CTK is blessed with a toddler through VPK staff that is specifically trained in early childhood education. All lead teachers hold at minimum a Child Development Associate Credential and all assistants are trained with a minimum of 40 hours in early childhood development, early literacy and First Aid and Pediatric CPR.
